Questions and answers about our ALL NATURAL mineral body wraps...............

How does the body wrap work?
Metabolic waste, chemicals, stress, medication and pollution in the environment overload body systems, causing water retention and soft, spongy and cellulite-ridden tissue.

Inches Away Suddenly Slimmer uses a procedure that includes wrapping the entire body in elastic bandages soaked with a natural mineral solution.  During the wrap, you do light exercise to improve circulation and help maximize the results of the process.

The wrap is a very healthy process; it detoxifies and removes excess waste and impurities from the body.

How long will I be wrapped?

You are wrapped for one hour, however please allot approximately one hour and a half  total time from start to finish.

How long does the appointment take?

Your first visit will last about two hours.

How many inches will I lose?

We guarantee 6-20 inches with your first wrap.  It is impossible to predict exact inch loss because each body is different and each person may have specific goals in mind and areas they wish to target.  Measurements are taken before and after the wrap to determine total inch loss.

How quickly will I see results?

You will see results immediately when you are unwrapped.  Usually, skin appears firmer and tighter, cellulite looks smoother, and stretch marks  are often lighter and less visible.  Clothing usually fits more loosely when you change back into them after the wrap.

Is this wrap dehydrating?

NO!  Bandages are soaked in our mineral solution and applied warm on the body.  This has a cooling effect, so a poncho is placed over the client to help retain body heat.

You are not sweating or hot during the wrap.

How long do results last?

How long results last depends on factors such as age, diet, weight maintenance and metabolism.  While it is not possible to predict exactly how long results will last, the average is  months at a time, depending on factors such as age, diet, weight maintenance and metabolism.

What do I need to do to maintain my results?

Limiting your intake of alcohol, caffeine and sugar will help you maintain your results.  Results last longer for some people than for others.  For best results, we recommend a maintenance wrap at least every 2-3 months, once you have reached your goals.

Keep in mind that the wrap is neither a miracle nor a license to overindulge.  In our experience, clients who combine body wraps with sensible diet and exercise achieve better and longer-lasting results than those who lead sedentary lifestyles and don't eat sensibly.

Do I need to do anything special before or after my visit?

You need to have clean skin. No lotions or body oils. Wear cotton undergarments, a sports bra is perfect.

No food at least one hour before your wrap it can make you uncomfortable to have a full stomach.

Bring dry undergarments to put on when you are finished yours will be damp.

Men - Wear boxer briefs that fit snuggly or briefs with boxers on top. Also bring dry undergarments to be re-measured in after your wrap.

Will a body wrap help with the appearance of cellulite?

Yes. Clients who specifically target cellulite-ridden areas for improvement report a visible result after being wrapped just one time, and that cellulite is nearly invisible after a series of wrap sessions.

How many wraps will I need?

The number of wraps is determined by what your goals are and how your body responds to the wrap.  To reduce specific body areas or cellulite, or to maximize inch loss, you should come in frequently for wraps until your objectives are met.

If you are dieting and exercising for weight loss, or have undergone a surgical procedure for weight reduction, it is recommended you come in for a wrap for every ten pounds you lose.

How frequently can I be wrapped?

This process is safe enough to do multiple times in one day.  Immediate goals, such as a wedding or another important date where slimness is a must, can be sped up through multiple wraps in one day.

Will I lose weight?

Inches, not pounds, is what the body wrap is designed for.  Many clients, however, do use the wrap as a jump start for a weight-loss program.

Are there any medical considerations?

Common sense dictates. If you are on medication or have a medical condition, you should consult your doctor before being wrapped.

Of course, the body wrap should not be done if you have any contagious condition, open wounds, or irritation of the skin caused by other beauty treatments, such as waxing, body scrubs, microdermabrasion, etc.
